Experience
this heartfelt journey through the life and music
of the legendary Johnny Cash as Terry Lee Goffee
presents a genuine atmosphere of celebration and
an almost erie sense of the ""Man in Black
himself! Terry Lee was recently invited to Nashville
for two performances where Cash’s brother
and sister were in attendance. Following the evenings
performances Tommy Cash stated, "My Brother
would be proud". Joanne Cash Yates commented,"It's
a wonderful show, I would highly recommend it to
anyone" and “you don’t impersonate
my brother, you continue his legacy with accuracy
and honor”
“Train
of Love” sprang from my appreciation and love,
not only for the music of Johnny Cash, but for the
man himself. A champion of the underdog, a voice
for those who often have none, an "outlaw"
before it became fashionable. If you come away from
this presentation with a better understanding of
who Johnny Cash is, I will have succeeded in my
vision for this endeavor.
_______~ Enjoy
the Ride - Terry Lee Goffee

In Big Band history, the Tommy
Dorsey Orchestra is recognized as one of the best
all-around dance bands. It could swing with the
best of them, and no other band could come close
to Tommy's when it came to playing ballads. Tommy
Dorsey, "The Sentimental Gentleman of Swing",
was a master at creating warm, sentimental, and
always musical moods - at superb dancing and listening
tempos. Tommy sustained these moods through the
arrangements of the likes of Paul Weston, Axel Stordahl
and Sy Oliver, and he showcased singers who could
project them brilliantly.

Don't miss this intimate
concert with the legendary "Rock & Roller"
Eddie Money! Get up close and personal with this
superstar at the Lexington Music Theatre Memorial
Day Weekend!
Eddie Money's career has a mythical quality. The
successful rock icon is doing what he always loved.
It's what took him out of the New York City Police
Force and across the country at such a young age
.. playing and performing his own music! Eddie Money
is a straight up rock and roll icon who has been
making music and delivering it to his fans since
the mid 70's, and he wouldn't have it any other
way. With hits like "Two Tickets To Paradise",
"Baby Hold On", "Walk On Water",
"Think I'm In Love" and "Shakin",
Eddie continues to be one of the hardest working
men in rock and roll. Eddie will also be performing
tracks off his latest CD release "Wanna Go
Back" !

-- Special Appearance by REDHILL
John Corbett asks one favor:
Listen to the music first. An esteemed actor known
for his naturalness in off-beat roles, Corbett accepts
that his first album will be met with excitement
by some, skepticism by others. He wants both camps
to put aside preconceptions—and put on the
music. As an actor, Corbett’s always brought
an easy grace to his roles, whether it’s in
the acclaimed TV series Sex and the City and Northern
Exposure or in the hit films My Big Fat Greek Wedding
and Raising Helen. His music carries the same natural,
down-to-earth spirit—only this is not role-playing.

The Lexington Music Theatre is excited to announce
the return of REDHILL "Blue-eyed country soul"
as they make a special appearance during the John
Corbett Band shows. Redhill performed to a sold
out audience at the Lexington Music Theatre in 2007!
If you were to place country,
pop and rock music into a blender, the result would
be the music of REDHILL. With a dynamic lead vocalist
backed by veteran musician-songwriters, their songs
by design are multi-marketable hits, appealing to
audiences of all ages and varied musical tastes.
REDHILL presents an energetic, entertaining and
memorable live show, and response to the bands'
music has been overwhelming. This has validated
efforts and a committed belief that REDHILL is destined
to be a powerhouse recording and touring act.

and incredible performance vitality. The music of

Through the years LRB has thrived
as a highly respected and constantly in-demand outfit,
going about their craft with a dedication to excellence
and professionalism that few, if any, can match.
Record success ran alongside – total record
sales around the world have eclipsed the 25 million
mark. 16 hit singles by 1985 including "Take
it Easy on Me" and "The Nightowls",
as well as gold, platinum, and multi-platinum album
sales awards. All-told LRB have notched up eight
top 10 singles in the US, where just two of their
songs, Reminiscing and Lady, have more than 8 million
radio plays between them.

Bert, who now goes by the nickname
Chili, is one of the best comedy writers in the
business. He stretches the envelope every time he
takes the stage, and audiences marvel at his ability
to take today’s headlines and meld them into
a monologue. Early in his career he was a contributing
writer for the national comic strip Mother Goose
and Grimm, and he was nominated for a regional Emmy
for his contribution to Pulitzer prize-winning political
cartoonist Mike Peters in his news insert called
Pen of Mike Peters. His ability to come up with
new and fresh comedy caused Jay Leno to send for
him in 1998...to create monologue materiel for the
tonight show. Chili still remains a staff writer
for the show today!

High octane, turbo, high performance,
super charged MITCH RYDER & The Detroit Wheels
didn't need to hail from the Motor City for those
adjectives to be tossed their way, but it was certainly
appropriate that they called Motown home. It was
Mitch and The Wheels who served as the musical bridge
between the Motown soul factory and the high energy,
take no prisoners rock 'n' roll that would roar
out of Detroit via Iggy & The Stooges, MC5,
Ted Nugent and Bob Seger.

When you think of “grassroots” and “down
to Earth,” you don’t normally think
of a movie star. You especially don't think of a
movie star the caliber of Jeff Daniels. Yet that
is exactly what Jeff has accomplished with his second
CD Grandfather’s Hat. With the follow-up album
to Live and Unplugged, Daniels has proven that he
is not an actor who sings, but an accomplished singer/songwriter
who’s musical talent does not require the
support of his acting. "The man can sing, the
man can play the guitar, the man can write a song."

Accompanied by his band, Herman’s
Hermits, Peter Noone consistently plays to sold-out
venues the world over. He has a legion of faithful
fans (known as “Noonatics”) whose loyalty
is unparalleled. Today’s teen girls scream
just as passionately as their mothers did back in
1965, prompting VH1 to select Peter as their viewer’s
choice for the “Sexiest Artist of the Year”.
Most recently, Noone starred in the recurring role
of “Paddington” on the CBS daytime drama,
As The World Turns. His colorful performances instantly
made him a favorite of the soap opera magazines
and online message boards. There is no doubt that
Peter Noone’s extraordinary talent, disarming
wit, handsome features and compelling stage presence
will continue to delight fans of all ages, for a
long, long time to come.

A singer and demon guitarist
whose raucous blend of country and rock 'n' roll
helped make him a successful crossover act. "A
lot of people tell me they don't like country music,
but they like what I am doing," says Junior
Brown. "I hear that line more than anything
else," which is ironic because a couple of
licks is all it takes to erase any doubts concerning
Junior's stylistic allegiance. His music & vocals
combine the soul of country and the spirit of rock
n' roll which create a fusion style all his own.

Vocal artistry that crosses
genres and Borders" As lead singer of the Mavericks,
Raul Malo was an artist who looked to the past--to
the soaring vocals of Roy Orbison and to an era
of pure pop passion and country romanticism. But
as a solo artist, Raul Malo is really the future
of American music: he sings in English and Spanish,
is equally at home with rock, country, big-band
jazz, and the rhythms of Cuba he absorbed growing
up in Miami. He's sung Latin rock, he's sung acoustic
Americana, he's even sung children's music. And
what makes it all even better is that his voice,
gorgeous to begin with has only become more unbelievable
with time! This must see event will sell out quickly
so don't miss your chance!

** Don't miss this historic
event at Lexington Music Theatre! Be a part of the
Magic, the legendary Rare Earth will be recording
their next cd "Live" at Lexington Music
Theatre Labor Day Weekend 2008! **
Recently, Rare Earth
decided to tour again – much to the applause
of their many fans across the country. Rare Earth
has their audiences up and out of their seats dancing
and singing along with their million selling classics
such as “Get Ready”, “Hey Big
Brother”, “Losing You”, “Born
to Wander”, and “I Just Want to Celebrate”
creating an atmosphere reminiscent of the Madison
Square Garden Concert in 1970, the Atlantic Pop
Festival in 1971 or the California Jam which was
one of their most memorable concerts broadcast nationally
in 1974. Rare Earth has
always been the “People’s Band”
and the thirst for performing for a live audience
has brought them back to touring the country –
performing WITH the audience, not at them. Rare
Earth is great! At the climax of their show, the
audience is always on their feet – some of
those feet on chairs and tables – with the
audience demanding an encore, which is acknowledged
with another show stopping “million seller”
by the incomparable Rare Earth.

New York actor Michael
Mauldin, as Mark Twain in his customary white suit
and ever-present cigar, takes us through a fascinating
panoply of uproarious comedy, gentle reminiscence,
and biting social satire on the human condition.
It is all seen through the eyes of a man who was
at the top of the literary and social spectrum for
most of his life and had reached the age and level
of esteem where he felt free to say exactly what
was on his mind about politics, religion and just
about every other subject and news of the day. Drawing
from a combination of Twain's published and unpublished
novels, short stories, journal notes, autobiography
and speeches, Mr. Mauldin delivers a powerfully
humorous and unforgettable performance - a richly
rewarding experience for the Twain aficionado and
novice alike.

Mountain Heart's name has been
synonymous with cutting-edge excellence since the

Riders In The Sky are truly
exceptional. By definition, empirical data, and
critical acclaim, they stand “hats & shoulders”
above the rest of the purveyors of C & W –
“Comedy & Western!” For thirty years
Riders In The Sky have been keepers of the flame
passed on by the Sons of the Pioneers, Gene Autry
and Roy Rogers, reviving and revitalizing the genre.
And while remaining true to the integrity of Western
music, they have themselves become modern-day icons
by branding the genre with their own legendary wacky
humor and way-out Western wit, and all along encouraging
buckaroos and buckarettes to live life "The
Cowboy Way!"

For over a decade, this dazzling
ensemble has enchanted audiences and critics worldwide
with their exotic blend of musical virtuosity, artistic
passion and charismatic presence. Classical in intent,
eclectic by design, *Quartetto Gelato* not only
thrills its audiences with the mastery of six instruments,
but offers the wonderfully unexpected bonus of a
brilliant operatic tenor. With a performance repertoire
that travels imaginatively between classical masterworks,
operatic arias and the sizzling energy of tangos,
gypsy and folk songs, the group's relaxed stage
presence and delightful humor establishes an immediate
rapport with traditional and non-traditional classical
audiences alike. Performed without scores, their
shows radiate a sense of spontaneity and excitement
rarely seen on the classical stage.

Now in its 14th year, Late Nite
Catechism has brought its nostalgic kick to every
state in the U.S. as well as to Canada, the U.K.,
and Australia. Late Nite Catechism is an uproariously
funny play that takes the audience back to their
youth. The irrepressible "Sister" teaches
class to a roomful of "students" (the
audience). Throughout the course of the class the
benevolent instructor rewards the "students"
for correct answers with glow-in-the-dark rosaries
and other nifty prizes. Naughty students may well
find themselves on stage sitting in a corner reflecting
their actions. However, even the most reluctant
"students" will be clamoring to get into
this Sister's "class."

The greatest big band of all
time "A band ought to have a sound all of its
own. It ought to have a personality." -Glenn
Miller Touring since 1938 The Glenn Miller Orchestra
continues to carry a legacy of the greatest big
band of all time. Current band leader Larry O'Brien
sets the mood with such classics as Pennsylvania
6-5000, In The Mood, and Tuxedo Junction. Miller
played and recorded with the likes of Tommy and
Jimmy Dorsey (who on several of their records, featured
an up-and-coming singer by the name of Bing Crosby),
Gene Krupa, Eddie Condon and Coleman Hawkins. In
addition, during that time, Glenn cut 18 sides for
Goodman, and also worked for radio studio conductors
like Victor Young, Carl Fenton and Jacques Renard.
In 1934, Miller became the musical director of the
Dorsey Band, and later went on to organize The Ray
Noble Orchestra, which included such players as
Charlie Spivak, Peewee Erwin, Bud Freeman, Johnny
Mince, George Van Eps and Delmar Kaplan, among others.
During their last appearance at the Lexington Music
Theatre, Larry O'brien, director of the Glenn Miller
Orchestra paused during the performance and commented,
"this show is being presented without any instrument
microphones, the acoustics in this theatre are perfect,
providing you with the true sound of the Glenn Miller
Orchestra".

Entertainer JOHN DAVIDSON has received
acclaim for his work in theatre, television, film
and musical entertainment venues worldwide. John
was born in Pittsburgh, PA., the son of a Baptist
minister and a homemaker. After graduating from
Denison University with a B.A. in Theater Arts he
made his Broadway debut in the 1964 production of
FOXY opposite the legendary Bert Lahr. Television
producer Bob Banner, who discovered and nurtured
such talents as Carol Burnett and Dom DeLuise, was
impressed by John's performance and offered to guide
his career in the television and film industries.
During their partnership John hosted two prime time
variety shows, The Entertainers and Kraft Summer
Music Hall and starred in two popular Walt Disney
films, The One And Only Genuine Original Family
Band and The Happiest Millionaire. His more recent
film roles include The Squeeze with Michael Keaton,
and Edward Scissorhands directed by Tim Burton.
He hosted The Tonight Show over 80 times, the only
singer to achieve that milestone. His obvious ability
to think on his feet and maintain control in unexpected
situations led to his hosting That's Incredible!,
The John Davidson Show, Hollywood Squares, and The
$100,000 Pyramid, in addition to hosting The Golden
Globes and numerous other variety specials. John's
dramatic TV credits include roles on Spenser for
Hire, Hallmark Hall of Fame's The Fantasticks and
John Dos Passos' USA, and his memorable portrayal
of a female impersonator on The Streets of San Francisco.
Comedy roles include playing Sally Field's husband
on the series The Girl with Something Extra, Love
American Style, and the TV film Coffee, Tea or Me?
with Karen Valentine.
John has returned to stage and television throughout
his career, earning a Theater World Award in 1965
for his portrayal of Curly in the City Center's
revival of OKLAHOMA! He has reprised that role in
many productions, the last of which he also directed.
Other favorite musical roles include Harold Hill
in THE MUSIC MAN, King Arthur and Sir Lancelot in
CAMELOT, Billy Bigelow in CAROUSEL, Will Rogers
in THE WILL ROGERS' FOLLIES(for which he won an
Angelo award,) Father in RAGTIME and Teddy Roosevelt
in TEDDY AND ALICE. His interest and admiration
for TR lead to a successful national tour in the
acclaimed one man show, BULLY! An Adventure with
Teddy Roosevelt. In 1996, John returned to his Broadway
roots playing the leading role in Rodgers' &
Hammerstein's STATE FAIR as well as starring in
the First National Tour. In 2000 he appeared Off-Broadway
opposite Morgan Fairchild in the comedy HIGH INFIDELITY.
John has had a long and illustrious career as one
of America's consummate all-around musical entertainers.
Introduced to Las Vegas audiences by Jack Benny
in 1966, he has headlined at the Las Vegas Hilton,
the MGM Grand, Caesar's Palace, the Riviera, the
Desert Inn, the Golden Nugget, Harrah's, and at
his own theater in Branson, Missouri. John met his
wife Rhonda in Branson where she was singing with
recording artist Vicki Carr. John hired her to appear
in his show and their subsequent partnership in
life and business continues 24 years later!

At age 18, the Worcester England native
teamed up with Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi and Chris
Wood to form the legendary band Traffic. At 19,
Mason penned the song "Feelin' Alright".
This song has since become a rock and roll anthem,
having been recorded by well over 48 artists, the
best known version being Joe Cocker. The group's
profound influence over rock music remains unquestioned
even today. Mason departed from the group after
their second album. In 1969 Dave headed for the
USA to pursue a solo career. He struck gold with
the album "Alone Together", which is considered
a rock classic. This was followed by five albums
for CBS/Sony including "Dave Mason" and
"Mariposa De Oro", four of which received
gold albums. "Let It Flow", which has
gone well over platinum, contained the classic "We
Just Disagree", a top-ten single! In addition
to performing to sold-out audiences, Mason performed
on a number of albums such as The Rolling Stones'
"Beggars's Banquet", George Harrison's
"All Things Must Pass", Paul McCartney's
"Listen To What The Man Said" and Jimi
Hendrix's "Electric Ladyland". One of
the songs from the "Ladyland" album, "All
Along the Watchtower", featured Dave playing
acoustic guitar. This song, written by Bob Dylan,
remains a big favorite in Dave's live show!
In October of 1993, Dave Mason formally
joined the legendary group Fleetwood Mac and spent
two years touring with them around the world. The
band completed and album for Warner Brothers called
"Time", which was released in October
1995, and features Dave's lead vocals on songs including
"Blow By Blow" and "I Wonder Why".
Dave Mason's career spans over 37
years and has encompassed producing, performing
and song writing. Not to mention being one of rock's
great guitar players! Along with his induction as
a founding member of the group Traffic into the
Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame, he is currently putting
the finishing touches to a brand new solo album.
In January. Along with his partner Ravi Sawhney,
Dave launched a brand new electric guitar company
at the 2004 NAMM show, in Anaheim, CA.

Performance

Since age 12, Stuart has been on the
road, first playing mandolin with gospel act the
Sullivans, and then touring with Lester Flatt's
band, leaving his birthplace of Philadelphia, Mississippi,
far behind. A tenure in Johnny Cash's band, followed
by a half-dozen successful solo albums, where he
spread the word of "hillbilly rock" across
the land, has kept Stuart from spending much time
in his hometown. About 150 miles south of the Mississippi
Delta, which gave birth to the blues, Philadelphia
is situated 35 miles north of Meridian, where Jimmie
Rodgers, the Father of Country Music, was born.
Clearly, both genres have been imprinted on Stuart.
Marty Stuart is country music’s renaissance
man. He has scored six top-ten hits, one platinum
and five gold albums, and four Grammy Awards. But
his success proves the difficulty of gauging a career
in charts alone. He has made lasting music as a
front man and in collaboration with virtually every
major roots music figure of his era, from Lester
Flatt to Bob Dylan. He has evangelized for country
music around the world, eulogized the departed legends
of the field, and identified and encouraged talents
of the future. Stuart has produced records for some
of the most distinguished artists working today,
and many famous names have chosen to record his
songs. Stuart's energetic enthusiasm has gone outside
music, yielding impressive work as a photographer,
writer, collector and arts executive.

Castillo

This Austin-based sextet has become
one of the happening bands in a town where catching
ears is no small feat. The del Castillo brothers,
Rick and Mark, play Spanish guitars, which gives
the group a distinctive string sound, underwritten
by a heavyweight rhythm section. "Brotherhood"
features songs in English and Spanish, and includes
Willie Nelson on a tune he wrote, "I Never
Cared for You." Whether Del Castillo works
in Spanish or English, it rocks righteously. The
Spanish guitars' flamenco vibe gives a dramatic
flair, abetted by Alex Ruiz's passionate vocals.
They pull together Latin music's romance and rock's
grit. The result is such blistering tracks as "Vida
Latina" and "Arena Al Viento." Watching
Del Castillo perform makes you rejoice over independent
music. While the group no doubt deserves to be heard
by the mainstream multitudes – great music
should always find a large audience – doing
it the grassroots way as they have ensures we clearly
hear that smoldering hybrid of flamenco, Latin rock,
blues and R&B. So why mess with a great thing?
